Puget Sound Energy is running a refrigerator drive, while donating to Food Lifeline to help feed families of Western Washington. This is a limited time offer that will end December 15, 2015.

Schedule a free pickup and recycling of your old fridge or freezer, and choose to donate your $25 PSE rebate to Food Lifeline. For every $25 donated to Food Lifeline through their recycling program, PSE will match the donations for a total of $50. Every dollar donated will provide five meals. Yours and PSE’s matching donations will provide 250 meals, and that will feed a family of four for two weeks.

To qualify, you must be a current PSE residential electric customer, and your recycled fridge or freezer must be in working (cooling) condition. You may recycle up to three appliances, and you may recycle select electronics along with your appliance. Electronic recycling is only available when you recycle an appliance. You can recycle mobile devices, computers, electronic office and networking equipment, game consoles, components, set-top boxes and more.

For recycling your fridge or freezer, you will receive free pickup of recycled items, a $25 PSE Visa Prepaid Gift card, and free electronics recycling.
