Kent School District is going to be at ShoWare Center once again for their annual tech expo. The expo will take place on January 21. 2016 from 6:00 to 8:30 PM. Last year’s expo was a success, with more than 8,000 participants from 12 states and 140 countries. There were 146 student-led, as well as business-sponsored, booths.
The 2016 Expo will feature exhibits by manufacturing, engineering and service sectors. It will also feature businesses that will demonstrate correlation between skills learned in the classroom and needs within the working world.
The 2016 Tech Expo will be presented in partnership with Microsoft and Boeing, and is an outstanding opportunity to see students within our community in action.
