Thanks to the Kent School District Board for sharing these fun facts about the new school year:

  • Students from first through 12th grade started school on September 1.
  • On Sept. 7, 1,900 kindergartners joined them. These kids represent the class of 2029!
  • On the first day of school, 18,000 families sent their kids to KSD schools to learn.
  • As of Sept. 14, 26,039 students were enrolled in classes, just 80 students below projections.
