Support Kent Families with Clothing Donations

The KAC PTSA Clothing Bank serves families in the Kent School District with a clothing bank that is open two nights a month. The organization has a small budget so purchase new socks and underwear for students. They recently spent $700 to replenish their bins, but they are already empty.

The clothing bank needs the community’s help to refill those bins. They are asking for new, unopened packages of socks and underwear for school-age children. All sizes are needed. Boys prefer boxer shorts, while girls prefer modest, boy-shorts-style underwear. Boys jeans are also in demand.

Please take your donations to Kent Phoenix Academy (11000 SE 264th St., Kent, WA 98030) and drop them off in the main office who will hold them for the clothing bank volunteers.

Visit the KAC PTSA Clothing Bank online to learn more.

See our October 24, 2016 post for a schedule of open dates for the clothing bank. The next Clothing Bank open Night is Tuesday, November 22.
