Tuesday, Jan. 23 is Kent’s Human Trafficking Awareness Day:

  • Did you know the average age that a child is expoilted is 15-years old?
  • Did you know that over 50% of the exploited population in South King County is African American?
  • Did you know that our Middle School Children are being groomed for trafficking?

If you are shocked or sickened by any of the statistics above- please join Kent Youth and Family Services and the Kent Police Department on Tuesday, Jan. 23 – all are invited to support by giving. Help support these efforts happening throughout the community by donating $23.00:

The dollars raised throughout January will help fund this partnership, create new opportunities for prevention and will also aide survivors by allowing us to provide resources to get them back on their feet.

Kent Youth and Family Services provides professional counseling, education, and support services to children, youth and their families in our community, developing innovative programs that meet the evolving challenges of our diverse community in culturally sensitive ways.
