The City of Kent’s Adopt-a-Street program offers residents, local businesses and organizations an opportunity to beautify Kent by picking up litter along the streets.
Removing litter improves safety and the appearance of the community, and also prevents pollution from entering drainage systems and waterways.
You provide the people, and the City will provide the supplies:
- Reflective vests
- Gloves
- “Work Crew ahead” sign
- Litter “Grabbers”
- Bags
- Collection of filled bags
To sign up for the program, complete the online application. Upon approval, you are required to also fill out necessary forms and participate in safety training prior to your first cleanup activity. Links to the required forms are located below.
