The Kent Police Department is seeking the public’s help finding a vehicle and driver involved in an apparent hit and run that occurred Saturday night (April 7) on the city’s West Hill.

The incident seriously injured a 51-year old woman.

Police say that at around 9:40 p.m. in the 23600 block of Pacific Highway South (map below) they responded to a call about an unconscious woman laying in the middle of the road.

Passersby who found the victim believed that she may have been hit or thrown from a vehicle. The victim was transported to Harborview Medical Center with serious injuries.

Deputies found pieces of a vehicle at the scene, and determined that they may come from the front of a 2008-2014 silver Mercedes Benz C-class sedan:

Police say a car that looks similar to this may have been involved in the hit & run (not actual car).

Kent Police are seeking the public’s help, and are asking asking anyone with more information to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or the Kent Police tipline at 253-856-5808.
