This year’s annual ‘Fishing Experience’ will be held on Saturday, May 19, 2018 at the Old Fishing Hole Park located on Frager Road, south of West Meeker Street (map below).

This FREE event is sponsored by the Rotary Club of Kent and Kent Parks, and is open to children ages 4 to 14.

It will run from 7:30 a.m. – Noon.

This non-competitive event focuses on fishing techniques, safety around water and environmental stewardship.

Each participant will be partnered with an experienced guide for a fishing lesson, as well as an opportunity to catch a trout.

All fishing equipment will be provided for the participants – PLEASE DO NOT BRING YOUR OWN GEAR.

Space is limited so pre-registration is required by or before Wednesday, May 17.
