Experience Historical Kent’s celebration of the City’s 123rd birthday with historian speaker Tames Alan, who will present her program of the role of women in WW1 at the Soos Creek Botanical Garden and Heritage Center on Saturday, Aug. 11.

Dressed in her Army ambulance driver uniform, Tames will portray her 1917 character and what life was like for women of that time.

This special family day runs from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. at the Garden, and will include a display of Sculptures of Women by local artists.
