The Kent Schools Foundation will be holding its annual fundraiser this coming Saturday, Sept. 15, 2018.
“The theme this year is ‘Shine On!’ and with your donation, we can help all of our 27,000 students “Shine On!” towards becoming the best they can be – one student at a time – every day – in every classroom.”
KSF serves one of the most diverse districts in the nation and are producing an inaugural district-wide auction to raise funds for the foundation’s programs. Auction proceeds will be invested directly into educational programs for our students, such as STEM, band and orchestra, and computers for those without one in their home, as well as providing help to students needing extra support. And we’re launching a new initiative to bring the arts to each of the 28 elementary schools in our district so that every student has access to explore, tinker and grow.
KSF is a non profit organization which helps enhance the kids’ education experience in the Kent School District. Funds raised are granted to the district where organizers see a need. Our focus this year is on The Arts… a part of the Kent School District that needs a helping hand. Will you help by joining our first annual auction?
