The Burlington Northern railroad crossing arms throughout downtown Kent malfunctioned and got stuck in the down position on Tuesday afternoon, Sept. 25.
Drivers were advised to use alternate routes, although anyone traveling east/west downtown didn’t have many options.
Kent Police Tweeted at 3:37 p.m. that things were back to normal.
We don’t want to jinx it, but looks like the crossing arms are working normally. For now…
