UPDATE DEC. 20 4:30 p.m.: West Valley Highway (68th Ave S.) has been re-opened after being closed between Frager Road S. and S. 272nd Street Thursday afternoon, due to downed power lines.
The road was re-opened around 4:25 p.m.

DriveKent.com is reporting that the West Valley Highway (68th Ave S.) is completely closed between Frager Road S. and S. 272nd Street (map below) due to downed power lines.
The closure started around 12:40 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 20, right in the midst of a severe windstorm.
“West Valley Highway is completely closed due to a downed tree and power lines blocking all lanes,” the city said. “Please use alternate routes. PSE is on site.”
