All are invited to join a Kickoff Celebration Meeting for the 2019 Relay for Life Season on Thursday, Jan. 31.

Doors open at 6 p.m., and the program will run from 6:30 – 7:30 p.m.

The Kickoff Celebration will be held at the Kent-Meridian High School Cafeteria at 10020 SE 256th St, Kent, WA 98030 (map below).

“Mark your calendars so you don’t miss the official kickoff of the 2019 Relay for Life Season. We will provide information about this year’s event, have special guest speakers, activities, light refreshments, and giveaways.

“This is an opportunity for you to learn about the many ways to get involved in this community event which is the largest fundraiser for the American Cancer Society! There are so many small to big ways to get involved including promoting the event, forming a team at the event, volunteering, and even sponsoring the Relay for Life. This unique event is all about celebrating survivors, remembering those who we have lost, and fighting back against cancer! This is now the second year that we have combined all the South King County communities (Federal Way, Auburn, Des Moines, Kent, Maple Valley, Covington, Black Diamond, Enumclaw, and everywhere in between!) into one giant Relay for Life of South King County!

“We’d love to fill the room with new and returning Relayers who want to make a meaningful difference in the fight against cancer!

“We hope to see you there – and don’t forget to bring a friend or two. Help us build our event in 2019!!”
