A smoke alarm alerted residents in a house in the 12400 block of SE 275 Place in Kent (map below) to escape a fire Friday afternoon, June 7, Puget Sound Fire said.
Two adults escaped safely, and one cat was rescued and treated with oxygen by medics.
Cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
Corrected address is 12400 SE 275 Pl. Fire mostly out but hitting hot spots.
