Apartment fire on Kent’s west hill caused by food on the stove

An apartment fire in the 25400 block of 47th Place South (map below) was caused by food on the stove, Puget Sound Fire said.

A resident was assisted out of the building, and there were “no injuries or complaints,” firefighters said.
