Experience Historical Kent is a free celebration featuring special exhibits, walking and self-guided tours of the City’s oldest homes, churches, businesses and cemeteries.

Approximate Self-Guided Tour Schedule:

    • 1:30 p.m. Senior Center, assembly point
    • 1:40 p.m. Tour begins
      Travel time 5 to 6 minutes
    • 1:45 p.m. to 2:15 p.m. Hillcrest Burial Park
      Travel time about 15 minutes
    • 2:15 p.m. to 2:50 p.m. Meridian Cemetery
      Travel time about 6 minutes
    • 2:50 p.m. to 3:20 p.m. Suise Creek Cemetery
      Travel time about 5 minutes
    • 3:20 p.m. to 3:45 p.m. “rest stop” at Kent United Methodist Church
      Travel time about 12 minutes
    • 3:45 p.m. to 4:15 p.m. Saar Pioneer Cemetery. This site is available for visiting as you can. Park at WinCo and walk around to cemetery.
      Travel time about 10 to 13 minutes
    • 4:15 p.m. to 5:15 p.m. St. Patrick’s Catholic Cemetery. St. Patrick’s will close at 5:15 p.m.
