Marti Reeder, Realtor® and Managing Broker of John L. Scott’s Covington-Kent-Maple Valley office (and a longtime ILoveKent.net Advertiser), is celebrating her 15th year as a Realtor® this October.

As a lifelong resident of King County, Reeder began her real estate career to help others realize the value of home ownership. Serving the greater Seattle area, Reeder primarily serves the South King County communities of Kent, Covington, Maple Valley, Auburn, Black Diamond and Renton.

Here’s more from Marti and team:

The award-winning Realtor® is a Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), dedicating her time and expertise to educating and working with home buyers and sellers on home ownership and ensuring they understand the ever-changing real estate and mortgage industries, including new rules and regulations that may affect them. Well-respected for her dedication by customers and peers in the Kent community, Reeder has been named “Best of Kent” Real Estate Agent by readers of the Kent Reporter every year for more than a decade.

To celebrate her 15th anniversary, Reeder and her real estate team, “Team Marti,” are hosting a donation drive to support KentHOPE, a Kent-based nonprofit that partners with Seattle’s Union Gospel Mission to support homeless women and children with a day shelter, overnight shelter, access to meals and connections to local services.

“Our focus at Team Marti is to better our community. While homeownership is not for everyone all the time, EVERYONE deserves a safe place to call home. We love KentHOPE and the fact they’ve helped hundreds of women and families find their safe place,” said Reeder. “We want to show our thankfulness for the Kent community by giving back and helping some of the most vulnerable.”

For everyone who drops off a donated item or a check for KentHOPE, Marti will contribute an additional $10 during Team Marti’s month-long “November Donation Drive for KentHOPE.” Checks should be made payable to KentHOPE and should include the donor’s name and current address.

The Team Marti office is open for donation drop-offs at 12845 SE Kent Kangley Road, Kent, WA 98030 Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Arrangements can be made for other times or pick-ups by calling Heidi Meyer, director of operations, at 253-859-8500. The most needed items are for the kitchen, cleaning supplies, food items and snacks, toiletries and clothing. For an expanded list of needed items, visit KentHOPE.org/donations-in-kind.

As Reeder’s business has grown over the last 15 years, she has added a team of specialists to support her work. Together, they have combined real estate experience of 36 years and construction experience of more than 30 years. Reeder also has more than 100 five-star reviews on Zillow and Facebook and over a dozen awards from John L. Scott for her work with the firm.
