The “Best of Kent, Real Estate Agent” voting took place just after the Governor’s Stay Home order was lifted. During that time, the transacting of real estate was deemed an essential business and Reeder didn’t ever see downtime. Sellers had to sell and buyers had to buy. Reeder says, “This is such an interesting time for real estate, very different and yet with similarities to the bubble prior to the fallout of the 2007-2008 mortgage fraud fiasco and ultimately, the Great Recession. The big difference is there is very limited listing inventory and record low interest rates resulting in a hot seller’s market. Through thick & thin, people know homeownership builds stability and wealth. They need to move during all types of life situations – moving is not something that can always be put on hold. It was a privilege to help many sellers and buyers during the Stay Home order. I was happy to hold their hand and guide them through the process – figuratively speaking.”
