Celebrate Fashion, Culture, and Community at Tukwila’s Culture & Fashion Show on Sunday, Dec. 8
Tukwila is one of Washington’s most diverse cities, and that rich cultural diversity is celebrated through the local businesses and talent that call the city home.
On Sunday, Dec. 8, 2024, from 4–7 p.m., the city will host its first annual Culture & Fashion Show at the Sullivan Center in Tukwila Village.
The event is put on by the Somali Independent Business Alliance and will feature businesses from Tukwila’s Medina Mall, among others.
This free event will kick off at 4 p.m. with a vibrant fashion show highlighting designs from local businesses that reflect Tukwila’s dynamic and multicultural community. From unique clothing and accessories to jewelry and textiles, the showcase offers an opportunity to explore the one-of-a-kind pieces curated by Tukwila’s entrepreneurs. Supporting these businesses is a way to honor the rich cultural tapestry that makes Tukwila such a special place.
In addition to the fashion show, attendees can enjoy a live DJ and performances, setting the mood for an exciting and engaging atmosphere. Free refreshments will be available, providing an opportunity to relax and mingle while experiencing the event.
Whether you’re looking to shop local, enjoy great music, or experience the best of Tukwila’s creative scene, the Tukwila Culture & Fashion Show offers something for everyone. This event is a true celebration of fashion, culture, and the spirit of community.
This event is free to attend and suitable for all ages, so be sure to mark the calendar and invite family and friends to join in the celebration of Tukwila’s diverse businesses.
