
Kent Chamber’s President’s Gala will be Saturday, Oct. 4

The Kent Chamber of Commerce will host its 2025 President’s Gala on Saturday, Oct. 4, 2025 with a masquerade ball set to spotlight local leadership, community service and business excellence.
The event runs from 5 to 9 p.m. at Green River College’s Auburn campus and will honor Chamber President Yvonne Walker of Heritage Bank, whose tenure has increased the Chamber’s visibility and impact across South King County.
In addition to celebrating Walker’s leadership, the gala will include the presentation of several annual awards, including:
- Chamber Member of the Year
- Marge Williams Citizen of the Year
- New Business of the Year
- Business of the Year
- Recognition of student winners of the Kent Civics Bee

Proceeds will benefit the Chamber’s newly-launched Youth Business Leadership Academy, which aims to provide young people with real-world business skills, mentorship and leadership training.
“Whether you’re bidding on exciting auction items, grooving on the dance floor, or toasting to local leaders, you’ll leave with new connections and a strong sense of community belonging,” the chamber said in a statement.
More than 200 guests – including business professionals, elected officials, and educators – are expected to attend the festive evening of dinner, live entertainment, dancing, auctions, and networking.
Attendees are encouraged to wear masquerade-themed attire.
