Kent Cornucopia Days returns July 10–12 with parade, live music and family fun

Kent’s annual Cornucopia Days festival will return to downtown the weekend of July 10–12, bringing three days of live entertainment, food, shopping and family-friendly fun to the city’s signature summer event.

According to organizers, this year’s festival, presented by Amazon, will feature live entertainment throughout the weekend, food vendors, hundreds of booths and exhibitors, a 5K Fun Run and Walk, a classic car show presented by Dick’s Drive In on July 11 and 12, and the Grand Parade on Sunday, July 12.

• Explore the Street Fair with more than 200 vendors offering handmade goods, local businesses, specialty products and community exhibits across 10 downtown blocks.
• Enjoy live entertainment throughout the weekend at the Town Plaza Park stage, featuring music and performances for all ages.
• Watch the Grand Parade at 1 p.m. on Sunday, July 12, featuring floats, marching bands, Seafair pirates, clowns, community groups and local dignitaries.
• Sample food from dozens of vendors in the food court and throughout downtown, with a wide variety of local and international fare.
• Bring the kids to the free Kids Zone at Town Square Plaza for family friendly activities.
• Participate in the Kent Cornucopia Days 5K Fun Run and Walk on Saturday morning, July 11.
• Check out the Classic Car Show, showcasing vintage and specialty vehicles during the festival weekend.
• Take in one of South King County’s largest family festivals, with free admission and activities for visitors of all ages.

Organizers are encouraging families and visitors to attend throughout the weekend, saying the festival offers something for everyone, whether they come for the music, food, shopping or community activities.
