Kent Police invite community to Coffee With the Chief on Wednesday, Sept. 16

The Kent Police Department will host Coffee With the Chief on Wednesday, Sept. 16, giving residents a chance to meet with Chief Padilla, officers and others from the department.

The event is scheduled for 8 to 9:30 a.m. at Woods Coffee, 15610 SE 272nd Street, B101 (map below).

Kent Police said the gathering is intended to provide “great coffee and great conversation” for community members who want to ask questions or talk directly with department leaders.

Topics may include the police department, crime trends or other informal conversation, according to Kent Police.
