Learn more about post-high school college and career opportunities

Next Wednesday, February 1 (6:30 – 8:30 PM), the Kent School District is hosting its annual Beyond High School event at Kentlake High School (21401 SE Falcon Way, Kent, WA). Ideal for high school students and their parents or guardians, the event brings together representatives from two- and four-year in-state and out-of-state colleges, technical schools, military, apprenticeship programs and local employers. Other organizations like the Kent Community Foundation will also be on hand to share scholarship information.

In addition to the informational booths, Beyond High School will host two breakout sessions, one from 7:25 to 7:55 PM and one from 8:00 to 8:30 PM. Topics include:

  • NCAA Athletic Eligibility
  • FAFSA/Finding the Money
  • High School & Beyond Options & SAT/ACT
  • Getting Into Highly Selective Colleges

Registration for the event is not required. The event and parking at Kentlake High School are free.
