Guest Editorial from Kent Police Officers Association

The Kent Police Officers Association is proud to endorse Council Member Dana Ralph in her id to become the next Mayor of Kent.

Dana Ralph is very familiar with the city as a life-long Kent resident, attending both Kent Junior High and Kent Meridian High School.

Dana Ralph has shown that she is willing to listen to the community and has a clear vision of where she would like to take Kent in the future.  Dana is also actively involved in making the City of Kent an outstanding place for everyone to live, raise a family, and work.

As a member of the Kent City Council for the last 5 ½ years and past Council President, Dana has been a champion for public safety and community engagement.  Dana is the current chair of the Drug Free Coalition and is a volunteer on the Kent Police Youth Board.  Dana has also served on the Regional Law, Safety, and Justice Committee for the last 5 years.

Council Member Ralph has demonstrated a willingness to listen to all sides of an issue and ask difficult questions in an effort to continue to move the City of Kent forward.  Dana Ralph has proven to be accountable for her decisions and expects the same of others in return. Dana has also worked collaboratively with those inside the city and across the Puget Sound region on a variety of issues.

Without a doubt, Council Member Dana Ralph is the most qualified, caring, and honest candidate running in the 2017 Kent Mayoral race.
