Firefighters fought a large, two-alarm industrial fire for several hours early Thursday morning in the 22600 block of S. 228th Street in Kent (map below).
Puget Sound Fire reports that the fire was intense due to a propane tank burning – and exploding – on the inside of the structure.
An elevated master stream was used to douse the flames.
There were no injuries.
Firefighters had to take a defensive position to keep the blaze from spreading, and Puget Sound Energy cut power to assist.
