Guy has over 15 years of experience in program development and community outreach, and will oversee the work and functions of the Kent YMCA.
MEET & GREETS
As part of this move, Guy will hold two meet-and-greets at the Kent Y’s temporary office location.
You can meet Kelly Guy in-person at the Kent Y’s temporary office location (220 Railroad Ave. N., Kent, WA) at the following times:

- Saturday, May 11 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
“I am thrilled to have Kelly Guy join as the new Executive Director for our new Kent location,” said Marcia Isenberger, Chief Operating Officer for the YMCA of Greater Seattle. “She will be Kent’s first Executive Director for our new branch. With her experience and proven leadership, she’s the perfect person to meet the needs of the Greater Kent community.”
Prior to the Y, Guy managed the Edgar & Holli Martinez Foundation Fellowship at the Technology Access Foundation. She also served as a Recreation Director for Seattle Parks & Recreation and also worked for Casey Family Programs and the City’s Human Services Department. She hopes to bring connectivity and community to the new Kent Y.
“I feel as though this position was made for me,” Kelly said. “Kent is my community and home. I look forward to opening our doors as a place to gather, connect with others, learn healthy habits and take care of each other.”
Guy started her new position at the Kent Y in March 2019.
When not working, Guy enjoys traveling, listening to 80’s and 90’s R&B and spending time with her niece and nephews.
