Mark your calendars and clean out your medicine cabinets, as the Kent Police Department is partnering once again with the DEA for National Drug Take Back Day on Saturday, Oct. 25, from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the Kent Police Department.
The DEA says the event is intended to reduce the risk of misuse or accidental ingestion by providing safe disposal options for prescription drugs.
You can safely dispose of your unwanted/expired medications via drive up or drop off.
If the weather is decent they will be collecting out front of the police department off of 4th Ave S.
If it’s rainy/windy, they will be located in the parking garage in the city hall parking lot. See picture in comments on what we can/cannot take.
