Area residents can safely dispose of unwanted paint products for free this Saturday, Oct. 25, from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. at a recycling event hosted by GreenSheen Paint and the City of Kent.
The event will take place at Hogan Park, located at 24400 Russell Road in Kent (map below).
Organizers will accept oil-based paints, acrylic, latex, stains, shellacs, lacquers, sealers, varnishes and urethanes. Items not accepted include spray paint, paint thinner, solvents, cleaning agents, adhesives, roof patch and drywall mud.
The event is free to attend, but participants are encouraged to register in advance.
