Meet (and adopt) Lilly, RASKC’s Pet of the Week:

Lilly is a 4-year-old female domestic shorthair cat, who was brought in by an Animal Control Officer in early November after being left in an apartment.

Lilly has had a stressful life so far and is hoping to find the perfect home where she can relax and cuddle up with her new family. During Lilly’s transition to the shelter, she became very scared and displayed some challenging behaviors. She has had a very difficult time at the shelter lately, but once she was moved out of a kennel and into an open room all to herself and away from other animals, she began to calm down and accept some pets from people.

Once Lilly is more comfortable, she loves attention on her terms. Because of her behavioral challenges, she needs a calm, quiet home with a family that is VERY cat-savvy. Lilly would also do best in a home with no children and no other pets.

Lilly is spayed, current on vaccinations, and microchipped! Her adoption comes with many benefits in addition to the love and snuggles she will give, including 30 days of opt-in health insurance through Trupanion and a King County pet license (if applicable).

As Pet of the Week, Lilly’s adoption fee has been reduced!

If you are looking for a sweet girl yearning for love and a family of her own, but just needs some patience and time to adjust, Lilly would love to meet you!

RASKC is open weekdays from Noon to 5 p.m., and weekends from Noon to 4 p.m.
