Meet (and adopt) Vonnegut, RASKC’s Pet of the Week:

Vonnegut, who also goes by Vonnie, is a 2-year-old male German Shepherd looking for a family to call his own.

Vonnie may be young but is already so smart! He knows sit, down, stay, come, and wait! He’s working on his leash manners and getting better every day. He is treat-motivated and will do almost anything for tasty snack. This will be helpful when teaching Vonnie new tricks. He is constantly looking to please people and wants to make you proud of him.

Vonnie has a lot of energy and loves to play, but once he gets his wiggles out, he is an affectionate and cuddly guy! At RASKC he can be found lying on his bed and playing with this toys. He is very gentle with his stuffed animals. He loves to get walked by RASKC’s dog walkers and they love to take him out.

Because Vonnie can get a bit jumpy, he would do best in a home with older children. He’s just an excited young man! With some training like down or no, this behavior can easily be stopped and he’s already working on it now.

Vonnegut is neutered, current on vaccinations, and microchipped! His adoption comes with many benefits in addition to the love and snuggles he will give, including a King County pet license (if applicable) and a $40 credit for training through Rover.

As Pet of the Week, Vonnegut’s adoption fee has been reduced!

If you are ready to fall in love with this energetic and affectionate boy, go visit Vonnegut at RASKC! RASKC is open weekdays from Noon to 5 p.m., and weekends from Noon to 4 p.m.
