A portion of South Peasley Canyon Road will be closed this. Saturday, April 11, for maintenance work, according to King County Road Services.
Crews will shut down the roadway between Military Road South and Peasley Canyon Way South from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. to conduct storm debris cleanup and shoulder mowing.
King County officials said emergency vehicles will be allowed through the work zone, and access to nearby businesses will be maintained during the closure.
Drivers in the area, including those traveling between Auburn, Kent and surrounding South King County communities, should plan for delays and seek alternate routes while work is underway.
Officials noted the work could be rescheduled depending on weather conditions or crew and equipment availability.
