Meet (and adopt) Sinjo, RASKC’s Pet of the Week:

Sinjo is a 5-year-old male Siberian husky/pit bull mix looking for his forever home!
Sinjo was brought into RASKC when his previous owner was no longer able to take care of him. He is an adaptable dog who loves to go with the flow. Sinjo is a super sweet boy who doesn’t ask for much. He walks nicely on leash and enjoys playing with toys. He loves spending time with the staff and volunteers at the shelter and never turns down a butt scratch! He keeps his kennel very clean and is gentle with his toys. He is also potty trained and will hold it for the dog walkers.
Sinjo seems to do well with other large dogs. When meeting dogs in his new home, he would do best with a slow introduction.
Sinjo spent some time in a foster home and they said he is an easy-going dog who did well when meeting new people and reacted well to other dogs when on a walk. He did okay when left alone for a few hours – he just whined a bit. He’s very happy to be with his people and is very playful and cuddly. They shared he is the sweetest boy and the perfect walking and running partner. He’s very snuggly and happy at home.
Sinjo came into the shelter at 106 pounds and overweight. He has lost some weight and is currently 93 pounds. He loves walks so healthy weight loss and maintenance shouldn’t be a problem with a family wo can give him the exercise he wants.
Sinjo is neutered, current on vaccinations, and microchipped! His adoption comes with many benefits in addition to the love and snuggles he will give, including a King County pet license (if applicable) and a $40 credit for training through Rover.
As Pet of the Week, Sinjo’s adoption fee has been reduced.
If you are looking for a running or walking buddy with a snuggly side to add to your family, come meet Sinjo at RASKC! RASKC is open weekdays from Noon to 5 p.m., and weekends from Noon to 4 p.m.
