Both directions of SR 167 between Kent and Auburn are closed because of water over the roadway, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT).
The closure affects a roughly six mile stretch of the highway from South 212th Street in Kent at milepost 22 to 15th Street NW in Auburn at milepost 16.
WSDOT said multiple on ramps to SR 167 in the area are also closed, including:
- Southbound SR 167 on-ramp from South 212th Street
- Southbound SR 167 on-ramp from 84th Ave South/Central Ave North
- Southbound SR 167 on-ramp from SR 516
- Northbound SR 167 on-ramp from SR 18
- Northbound SR 167 on-ramp from 15th Street NW
- Northbound SR 167 on-ramp from South 277th Street
WSDOT said there is no estimated time for the roadway to reopen.
Drivers traveling between Kent, Auburn and nearby South King County communities are urged to seek alternate routes until conditions improve, WSDOT said.
