The festive English Fête returns Saturday, Sept. 8, from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m to St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in Renton.
Festive village fêtes are fairs, a perennial tradition in the UK, complete with their own style of carnival games like Splat the Rat, Smash the Crockery, Wet Sponge Throwing, Coconut Shy, Welly Wanging and more. Other staples of these annual events include live music, cake stalls, car shows, raffles and of course beer, tea and lots of traditional English foods.
You will find all this plus an abundant silent auction, grand prize raffle featuring drawings for a new Traeger Pellet Grill, an instant Wine Cellar and a $250 dining gift card at Acua/El Gaucho Restaurant.
This fun event will be held at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in historic old Renton on Saturday, Sept. 8, from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m.!
