Authorities are asking the public for help locating a 73-year-old Kent man who has been missing since Monday, Mar. 9.
The Washington State Patrol said Kurt Husa was last seen leaving his home in the 22200 block of 43rd Ave. S. in Kent (map below).
Officials described him as a 73-year-old man who is 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs about 160 pounds, with grey hair and hazel eyes.
According to information released by the Washington State Patrol, Husa’s family reported that he has been experiencing depression and they are very concerned about his wellbeing. His medications and CPAP machine were left at his home.
Authorities said Husa’s vehicle, a 2018 Kia Niro with Washington license plate BJF9742, is also missing from the residence. It is unknown if he is driving the vehicle, and it has not been detected by Flock Safety cameras.
Officials also noted that Husa may have an injury or bruising near his right eye.
Anyone with information about Husa’s whereabouts is asked to call the Kent Police Department non emergency dispatch line at (253) 852-2121. Anyone who knows his immediate location should call 911.
Authorities also asked that tips not be posted on public social media and instead be reported directly to law enforcement.
