The Washington State Patrol has activated an endangered missing person alert on behalf of the Kent Police Department for Raughshee Nelson, 35, who was last seen Aug. 8 in Kent.

Nelson was last seen at about 2 p.m. off Central Avenue South, heading in an unknown direction, according to the alert.

The Washington State Patrol said Nelson may appear confused and unable to return without assistance.

The alert says the disappearance poses a credible threat to Nelson’s health and safety, as determined by the investigating agency.

Nelson is described as 6 feet 1 inch tall and 300 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. The alert says Nelson was last seen wearing a black shirt, black shorts, a fluorescent vest and a fluorescent hat.

Anyone who sees Nelson should call 911. The Kent Police Department’s nonemergency number is 253-856-5800. The case number is 26-08214.
