A Silver Alert has been issued for a missing vulnerable adult last seen in Kent, and authorities are asking the public for help locating him.
Shane Ryan was reported missing on April 3, 2026, but has not been seen since March 31, according to information from the Kent Police Department and Washington State Patrol.
Ryan was last seen by a neighbor in the carport of his home in the 2400 block of South 260th Street (map below).
Authorities said Ryan does not own a vehicle, and it is unknown how he may have left the residence. He also does not have identification or a bank card with him.
Ryan was last seen wearing a red plaid flannel jacket and a dark colored winter hat with earflaps.
Police said he has medical conditions, including a seizure disorder and mental health issues, that require medication. It is unknown whether he has access to those medications.
Anyone who sees Ryan or has information about his whereabouts is asked to call 911.
