The Kent Chamber of Commerce will host its annual Nonprofit Appreciation Luncheon on Thursday, Dec. 4, celebrating the organizations and individuals who help strengthen the South King County community.
The event runs from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Green River College’s Kent Campus (map below).
Chamber officials said the luncheon will feature a Nonprofit Showcase, panel discussion, and opportunities for networking among local nonprofits, businesses, and community leaders.
The panel discussion, titled “Empowering Nonprofits for Greater Impact,” will include Kevin Grossman of the Small Business Development Center, Lori Guilfoyle from the City of Kent Human Services Department, and Brenda Farwell of the Kent Community Foundation. Panelists will share strategies on funding, partnerships, organizational growth, and innovative ways to increase nonprofit reach.
The showcase will highlight local organizations serving Kent and neighboring cities, with registration still open for nonprofits interested in hosting a table.
