Public is Invited to Community Meeting Hosted by Kent PD on June 22

The Kent Police Department is hosting an informational meeting at Kent Elementary School (24700 64th Ave. S., Kent) at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, June 22. The community is invited to attend to learn more about the Kent Police Department.

The focus of this meeting is to bring the community together with police leadership to help address community crime concerns and to educate the public on resources the Kent Police Department can provide to make Kent neighborhoods safer and more secure.

Kent Police Chief Ken Thomas, Kent Police Department Command Staff and other police personnel will be on hand to discuss current crime trends, crime prevention and local police department programs. There will also be a special presentation on King County Guardian One Helicopter and Pilot.
