The Kent Police Department’s ‘Block Watch 101’ will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 18, from 6:30 – 8 p.m. at Kent Commons.
“This is great for neighborhoods looking to start a block watch or revive an old one,” police said.
Police will talk about how and why to set a Block Watch up, and will also cover current crime trends.
There will also be an opportunity for Q & A with Neighborhood Response Team Officers and Community Education Coordinators.
“Invite a few neighbors to come with you so they can help out!”
This free event will be held at Kent Commons in the Olympic Room.
