Nothing says morning like the smell of a good cup of coffee and a fresh-based pastry. Starting Monday, locals can get their morning fix at a new spot – Macrina Bakery. Earlier this year the bakery announced it would move its production to facility to Kent. That day is finally here!

As an added bonus, Macrina is also opening a café, which will host a Grand Opening and ribbon cutting celebration with Kent Mayor Suzette Cooke on Monday, August 8 at 8:30 AM. The public is invited to attend.

Initially, the café will be open Monday through Friday, 6 AM to 3 PM.
