Meet (and adopt) Ford, RASKC’s Pet of the Week:
Ford is a 2-year-old male Labrador/Pit Bull mix who is looking for his forever home. Ford is a silly and energetic boy who has quite the personality!
At RASKC, Ford keeps his kennel very clean and is very gentle with his stuffed animals. He is incredibly food motivated and will do just about anything you ask for a tasty treat! This will be very helpful for teaching him new skills! Ford already knows sit and wait but would love to learn more.
Ford is the sweetest boy and a big affectionate lovebug who would be thrilled to cuddle up with you at home! He is a big baby and will sit right on you and demand love and scratches.
Ford also loves to run around the yard and play! His caretakers have noticed he is very good at fetch! He may also be good with other dogs. His finder shared he was very excited when he saw dogs. When meeting new dogs, a slow introduction is always recommended. If you would like to bring your dog so Ford can meet them in advance, that is always good.
Ford is neutered, current on vaccinations, and microchipped! Ford’s adoption comes with many benefits in addition to the love and snuggles he will give, including 30 days of opt-in health insurance through Trupanion, a discount on online training from GoodPup and a $40 credit from training through Rover.
