Meet (and adopt) Galloway, RASKC’s Pet of the Week:

Galloway is a two-year-old male Newfoundland mix who can’t wait to find his forever home. He is very stressed at the shelter so doesn’t always show well, but once he’s out of the kennel all he wants to do is get belly rubs and be near you! Galloway absolutely loves affection and would make a great cuddle buddy at home!
Full of energy and loving to play, his caregivers have noticed that he is also a water dog! He loves sitting in his kiddie pool and splashing around. He is super treat motivated and will happily sit and shake for them. Due to his high energy, he would do best in a home with older children. Galloway is also a Playgroup Pal at the shelter. Ask the staff about his interactions with other dogs in playgroups!
Galloway is 75 pounds, neutered, current on vaccinations, and microchipped! His adoption comes with many benefits in addition to the love and snuggles he will give, including 30 days of opt-in health insurance through Trupanion and a discount on training through GoodPup.
As Pet of the Week, Galloway’s adoption fee has been reduced!
If you and your family are ready to fall in love with fun and affectionate Galloway, come see him today! You can visit him at RASKC on weekdays from Noon to 5 p.m., and weekends from Noon to 4 p.m.
