Meet (and adopt) Matcha, RASKC’s Pet of the Week:

Matcha is a 1.5-year-old female Pit Bull looking for her forever home.

Matcha was brought to RASKC in mid-July. She was pretty nervous when she first got to the shelter but is finally showing her true colors. While she can sometimes be unsure of new people or things, she is super treat-motivated so snacks are definitely the way to her heart. Once she gets to know you, she is a very sweet and affectionate girl.

Matcha is full of energy and loves to play and do zoomies! She can be a bundle of energy and would do best with older kids. Another thing to know about Matcha is that she can almost clear a fence, so she will need to be supervised in a yard or taken out on a leash. Her caregivers at RASKC think she would do best with someone who can keep Matcha’s adventurous side safely contained!

Matcha is 47.6 pounds, spayed, current on vaccinations, and microchipped! Her adoption comes with many benefits in addition to the love and snuggles she will give, including a King County pet license (if applicable) and a $40 credit for training through Rover.

As Pet of the Week, Matcha’s adoption fee has been reduced!

If you are looking for an energetic and affectionate girl, come meet Matcha at RASKC! RASKC is open weekdays from Noon to 5 p.m., and weekends from Noon to 4 p.m.
