Meet Max, RASKC’s Pet of the Week:

Two-year-old Max came to RASKC as a stray and is looking for his new home. When he first arrived, Max was pretty fearful and had a hard time trusting. He’s starting to come out of his shell, and really likes people who take their time to get to know him!

An active home would be a great fit for Max as he’s got a busy personality and is always on the move. He knows some basic commands like sit, down, and catch, and he’s ready to learn more!

Max is described as Belgian Malinois mix. Because he is shy, he would do best in a home with teens or an adult only home. Also, a home that would give him time to decompress and learn what being a part of a family is all about would be perfect for Max!

Discount Adoption Fee

During the Clear the Shelters national campaign, all adoption fees for dogs (and cats) at RASKC are $30 until Sept. 10, 2024.

Max is neutered, current on vaccinations, and microchipped. His adoption comes with many benefits, including 30 days of opt-in health insurance through Trupanion and a discount on training through GoodPup.

If you are looking for a shy but busy boy to add to your family, Max may just be the one for you! Visit Max at RASKC weekdays from Noon to 5 p.m. and weekends from Noon to 4 p.m.
