Meet (and adopt) Maxine, RASKC’s Pet of the Week:

Maxine is a one-and-a-half-year-old female Pit Bull mix who is looking for her forever home.
Maxine loves to play with toys! She likes to carry a stuffie in her mouth during walks and all her volunteer friends think it’s adorable! Maxine is high energy so would do best in a home without younger children.
Maxine is a smart girl who already knows how to sit. She is eager to please, loves treats, and can’t wait to learn more! Her caregivers have been keeping her busy by feeding her with a maze feeder and offering her lots of chew toys.
Maxine is also a Playgroup Pal and seems to de well with other large dogs. Please ask the staff about her interactions with other dogs at the shelter in playgroups. When meeting dogs in a new home, she would do best with a slow introduction.
Maxine is 65 pounds, spayed, current on vaccinations, and microchipped! Her adoption comes with many benefits in addition to the love and companionship she will give, including 30 days of opt-in health insurance through Trupanion and a discount on training through GoodPup.
As Pet of the Week, Maxine’s adoption fee has been reduced!
If you and your family are ready to fall in love with Maxine, please visit her at RASKC. RASKC is open on weekdays from Noon to 5 p.m., and weekends from Noon to 4 p.m.
