Meet Ramsey, RASKC’s Pet of the Week:
Ramsey is a 6-year-old male Pit Bull who is looking for a forever home!
Ramsey was brought in by an Animal Control Officer at the beginning of June and it appeared that he had been on his own for a while. Ramsey is 48 pounds and is quite underweight. When he is at a healthy weight he will be considered a large breed dog!
Ramsey has a big heart and an even bigger love of treats! He already knows how to sit and would love to learn more. He was in a foster home for a short time and his fosters said he appears to be fully potty-trained and crate-trained. Yay for Ramsey!
Ramsey also does will with other dogs who have a full contact playstyle and like to wrestle. He is also great on leash!
Ramsey can sometimes be a little unsure of new things and people, so he is looking for a family that will give him some time to settle in and feel safe. He would do best in a calm, quiet home without young children.
