Two Dogs Rescued
Contributed by the Puget Sound Regional Fire Authority
No one was hurt this morning after a mobile home caught fire in the 800 block of the West Valley Hy.
Firefighters from Puget Sound Fire were dispatched at 11:50 am, and found a single-wide mobile home with smoke coming from several sides. Because there were vehicles parked in front of the home and no one coming outside, firefighters quickly entered due to the possibility of a trapped victim. Fortunately, no one was inside. Two dogs were rescued.
The fire was contained to the kitchen area, but there was smoke and heat damage throughout the home. The fire is currently under investigation.
In addition to the Puget Sound Regional Fire Authority, units from South King Fire and Rescue and King County Medic One also responded to this incident.
