Dramatic footage shared by South King Fire showed firefighters extinguishing the fire.
One patient was rescued by a couple of bystanders who pulled him from the flames.
Here’s what Troopers said happened:

- Vehicle one (the semi-truck) was traveling eastbound on SR 18 exiting to northbound SR 167 in lane one of one.
- Vehicle one failed to negotiate the curve, causing its load to shift.
- Vehicle one rolled onto its side and became engulfed in flames.
- Eastbound SR 18 to SR 167 was blocked.

Patient with critical injuries was transported to Harborview by @KingCoMedicOne. He was pulled from the cab of the semi truck by a heroic veteran of the Marine Corp who served for three years. Veteran suffered some injuries and burns but thankfully all minor damage injuries.
