About the Centennial Center Gallery
The Centennial Center Gallery is a program of the City of Kent Arts Commission with a mission to celebrate art, to provide diverse artists with exhibition opportunities, and to encourage public engagement.
The Gallery presents the work of Washington State artists in solo and small-group exhibitions, as well as an annual Summer Art Exhibit featuring an eclectic mix of work from multiple artists. Exhibitions and events are presented throughout the year, and exhibitions range in length from two to 12 weeks – all are open to the public and free of charge.
Artists apply to exhibit in the Gallery through an annual process. DEADLINE is in mid-March each year. Artwork is chosen by carefully selected panels of arts professionals, City staff, City leaders, and community representatives.
